Description
The Biotechnology Teaching Program (BIT) is committed to creating accessible educational resources and an informative BIT website. Supported by the Provost's Professional Experiential Program (PEP), students will be critical for the design and accessibility of the BIT new site and BIT Open Educational Resources (OERs). The BIT Program also has several externally-funded projects that engage other institutional partners and share molecular biology educational resources.
We need your help creating captivating and informative websites and resources for students, instructors, and the public. Join the BIT Program and help us improve our reach as you gain design experience
Applicants will:
- Create content for web pages and video tutorials.
- Design elements for BIT website (biotech.ncsu.edu) and informational materials.
- Evaluate the user experience and accessibility of websites and materials.
Preferred job skills:
Working knowledge of WordPress and graphic design software.
Communication skills to work with an interdisciplinary team of instructors and staff.
Ability to organize a large number of web pages and information.
Hourly rate:
$15.00 for a maximum of $2,000 during the academic year.
